Hi all,
Just moments ago I pushed a new update to the system. This one brings the "App Spotlight" module to all of us. As you are all well aware, all apps being tested here have an ultimate goal of ending up in the iTunes App Store. When ever a beta for a given app is finished and the app is published by the developer, it will show up in the "App Spotlight" module. There will be always 3 latest apps featured at the top, and as soon as a new one comes out, the older one will fall underneath into "Previously featured" section  For now all this is done manually, however, by the end of the week developers will have new options for their betas (i.e. to add them to the App Spotlight section). Hope you like the design. I presonally love it, but then, I made it  .Comments are welcome! Oh, and make sure you get the SpeedoCheck app quickly while it's free! It's only for Today!!! Nice to see the new section but im dissapointed that some apps are going for free or very little price if you consider other apps in the app store they are a lot better through coming through the process.

 Yes, it is true, but I believe that 99 cents is THE PERFECT pricing for any app out there, no matter what it does or how well. I am sure that if developer sells it at 99 cents they'll make more money by both quantity and quality, than just making it on quality. What do you think? -------------------- Petar Smilajkov - Peconi

I agree partially, but I think 99 cents is a nice introduction price for an app (not all apps of course), and after a week increase is to 1.99 perhaps. I think apps that sell for 1.99 will sell as good as 99 cents apps. But I still think it depends on the app. I mean, some games you find in the AppStore are really worth the 4.99 for example, and some apps do too in my humble opinion.

Yea, I agree it makes sense. I just do not approve those 9.99 apps and stuff... That's just plain crazy.

well...there are many app that are greate and may regard something more than 0.99$...It is really sad to hear people saying "I don not work more than 2 weeks on iphone app becouse of 'Apple's Black Hole'"(I heard a lot of people speaking this way) many app if fully featured may be great, but if a developer spend only 2 weeks we'll have always half featured apps that really worth nothing more than .99$
Anyway in my opinion App Store business is terrible... Hope i explained myself P.S. Spotlight is wonderfull greate work peconi!!! -------------------- I'm italian so sorry if i don't speak a very good english.

Apple has to do a lot of things to improve: from easing the whole beta testing process a bit, to lifting off the limits on number of beta testers, to bettering the app store... The list goes on.
I'm trying to help as much as I can with this site (to Apple, Developers and Beta Testers). Emailed the main managers from Apple for development here in US and in UK - never got a response about iBetaTest. One would think they'd at least say something...
